Benjamin Tate serves as land use and zoning consultant for Green Lake Golf, coordinating all legal efforts related to rezoning, land use entitlements, and permitting.
Benjamin is a land use and zoning attorney with Withey Morris, PLC. A second-generation Arizona native with deep roots in the Valley, Benjamin uses his extensive knowledge of development processes in municipalities and counties across the Valley and Arizona to guide developers and property owners through every aspect of real estate development, from land use entitlements and zoning to site plan and design review.
A problem-solver by nature, Benjamin works with his clients to effectively design and position development projects to anticipate and address potential issues, and leverages his relationships with community leaders, municipal staff, and elected officials to build the consensus that is essential for a successful project.
Benjamin earned his law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in May 2012 and his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in 2007 with a double major in economics and political science. Outside of the office, Benjamin likes to cook, ride bikes, and spend time with his wife and two daughters. He is also an avid weightlifter, swimmer, and outdoorsman.
Erik Distler advises on the integration of sustainability best practices across all aspects of Green Lake Golf’s service offerings.
Erik serves as Vice President of Sustainability at AEG, a worldwide leader in sports and live entertainment that hosts over 100 million guests per year across a portfolio of music, sports, entertainment districts, and a ticketing platform. In this role, Erik leads AEG’s global sustainability efforts, overseeing the company’s corporate sustainability program – AEG Sustainability.
He is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s sustainability strategy, which focuses on reducing impacts across energy, waste, water; managing and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions; protecting and preserving natural resources; and advancing education and awareness throughout the company and its guests.
Erik has worked at the intersection of environmental and social responsibility in sports and entertainment for more than 14 years. Before joining AEG, he was with Nike, the Green Sports Alliance, and PwC, leading sports-focused sustainability strategies and relationships with corporate partners, live entertainment events, professional sports leagues and clubs, sports governing bodies, and collegiate schools and conferences, as well as working extensively with ESPN.
Erik began his career in accounting and finance, working for Deloitte and The Siegfried Group LLP. He received his Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Iowa State University, graduating with Honors and High Distinction.

With extensive experience in construction and project management, Jesus has led a wide range of projects across the United States. He has managed efforts in the construction of new golf courses as well as an array of highly detailed and complex course renovations and turf reduction initiatives, including golf hole realignments and routing adjustments. Known for his creativity and reliability, Jesus brings a keen understanding of both the game and the land to every project.
